Thanks everyone for walking in the Veteran's Day Parade in Albany. As the NYS economy keeps collapsing and more and more state workers lose their jobs, a wide range of folks are beginning to consider our question, "How is the War Economy Working for You?" Perhaps now the distress and pain of unemployment will help them connect the cost of these discretionary wars with the economy. Isn't it time to spend our tax money helping folks here in NYS?

Our next meeting is Monday, December 20, 2010 at the VA Hospital, 4th floor, Ann Wilson Lounge at 7 PM. The War Healing Circle is the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month at 6PM, UU Society of Albany,  405 Washington Ave., Albany, NY.

 The Kateri Tekakwitha Peace Conference was a splendid success and a most enjoyable day.  Many folks have commented on the excellence of our presenters and everyone was delighted with Rich Goodhart's  concert. The pizza was great and folks were very generous so we did manage to pay the bills. Thanks everyone.
