5 Ways to End the War in Iraq

There are many ways all of us can work to end the occupation of Iraq. Each is a step along the way. Here we offer five suggestions. To find more suggestions you might also Google 10 ways to end the war in Iraq and read some of the many other ideas and actions offered.

If you are just beginning, pick something easy and that sounds interesting to you, and do it! Some of the actions will take very little time and others more. There are many compelling reasons for you to act now. The most important of these is American Servicemen and women along with the people of Iraq are being killed daily because of the mistakes, the incompetence and the criminal actions of our government. We the people are responsible and we must insist that our government ends this occupation as quickly and humanely as possible.

  1. Call Your Congressional Representative
    Insist they stop funding the war and
    begin an immediate withdrawal of all
    U.S. Armed Forces from Iraq.

  2. Work to educate the community about the reality of military service and military recruitment. A great place to start is at AFSC.
