Every Day Things Seem to Be Getting Worse

Every day things seem to be getting worse. The Third Gulf War is now officially lost in the Gulf of Mexico.  The first two Gulf wars in the Middle East are lost also but that remains unofficial. The attack by the Israeli Defense Force,  a clearly criminal attack in international waters on the Gaza Peace Flotilla  has added the agony and tension of all involved in the ongoing Middle East crisis.

At home in the Capital District the Times Union ran the following story today.

Jun 5, 2010 ... Elks Lodge says group can't march as themselves in June 19 parade.

A message of thanks to all the VFP members who walked in the Saratoga Springs Memorial Day Parade on Wednesday, May 26, 2010.  A big thank you for coming out in the record heat to support the cause of peace and the  VFP Adirondack Chapter.  And a big thank you to Linda LeTendre for her letter to the Saratogian and for so graciously opening her home for pizza and a heartfelt VFP community gathering afterwards.  And finally a very big thank you to the citizens of Saratoga Springs for their welcoming support of Veterans For Peace.
